Livestock competitions at FarmFest

Elders FarmFest once again has a big attraction in store, the Clipex Livestock Area competitions and working dog demonstrations.
The livestock area action this year will incorporate exciting arena activities, including the very popular led steer and heifer competition open classes, the school led steer and heifer classes and an award for the champion school or college.

Another highlight in the livestock arena will be the working dog demonstrations, which are held regularly over the three days of FarmFest – guaranteed to be a hit with visitors.
The Clipex Livestock Area will showcase to visitors a number of exhibitors including a spectrum of breeds offering daily demonstrations, schools offering an agricultural curriculum and livestock associated products and services.
It is also open to smaller animal breeders and related products including stud sheep breeds and goats – and a favourite with the children, Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm.
A new feature of the Clipex Livestock Area is the Rural Relief Centre featuring a number of charitable organisations that are the backbone of our rural communities offering general health and wellbeing services, and welfare - you’ll see Australian Red Cross, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Rural Aid, StandBy – Darling Downs & West Moreton.
