Aon sponsors AgQuip for mammoth return of nation’s largest agricultural field days event

AgQuip will celebrate an historic 49 years in 2022

2022 will be the first-time AgQuip has run since 2019, due to COVID-19

More than 100,000 people from across Australia and overseas will converge on north west NSW this month, when the nation’s biggest primary industries event, Aon AgQuip, gets underway on 16 August.

Returning from a two-year hiatus, after COVID-19 forced the event’s cancellation in 2020 and 2021, AgQuip will celebrate an historic 49 years in 2022 and will welcome Aon as its major naming rights sponsor.

AgQuip organisers, ACM Rural Events, says it’s fantastic to have Aon on board. “This is the first-time Aon has sponsored AgQuip and we are delighted to have their support,”said AgQuip General Manager, Kate Nugent.

“As agribusiness specialists, Aon has supported the nation’s farmers for more than three decades, through some of the most trying of times, and it’s very fitting they’ve come on board to celebrate AgQuip’s return to normal operations.”

Aon is a leading global professional services firm, and supports rural and agricultural operations through its team of experienced local brokers and risk experts. Jacintha Borg, National Agribusiness Director at Aon, said the firm is excited to be sponsoring Australia’s biggest primary industries event, as it begins the countdown to its massive 50th birthday event in 2023.

“Aon is proud to be a major sponsor of AgQuip. With a network of 35 branches across Australia, we are committed to our presence in regional areas and dedicated to supporting these communities,” she said.

“Our agriculture industry forms an integral part of Australia’s social, economic and environmental sustainability, and as one of Australia’s largest risk and insurance advisers, we recognise the contribution agribusiness makes to local communities and the national economy.

“That is why we are delighted to be supporting AgQuip and providing our clients with advice and solutions that give them the clarity and confidence to make better decisions to help protect and grow their businesses.”

The 2022 Aon AgQuip will highlight modern innovation in the agribusiness industry, and take place from 16 – 18 August on its own dedicated site, eight kilometres west of Gunnedah, in the heart of one of Australia’s richest agricultural regions, the Liverpool Plains.

“This year’s Aon AgQuip will bring hundreds of exhibitors together to showcase the biggest range of agri-products and services in Australia,” said Ms Nugent.

“The field days will feature the Agri-Tech Expo, as well as Education Expos, seminars and live demonstrations, to highlight the exciting new on farm practices driving efficiency, productivity and profitability.”

Tickets to the Aon AgQuip can be pre-purchased online for half-price ($5), while full price tickets will be available for purchase at the event from 8am daily.
