AgSmart on the move to regional Victoria
AgSmart is the nation’s new agtech expo showcasing the latest innovations, education, research and developments in Australian agriculture, and will be staged in regional Australia.
With substantial growth in the world’s population and the cost of food and fibre production ever increasing, Australia’s agtech sector is set to change the face of farming.
ACM Rural Events group manager, Kate Nugent said the in-person event is designed with a commercial focus on agtech, with trade exhibits and seminar sessions held across two days.
“It will provide insights into the future of Australian farming,” she said.
The event will be held in Bendigo, Victoria, in an indoor venue – where people on the land can come to see the latest developments from agtech start-up companies and national companies.
“Our commercial philosophy has gained affirmation and excitement from the burgeoning Australian agtech industry as it seeks an opportunity to display, demonstrate, influence, and inform Australian farmers about adopting new technological advances and different practices in agriculture to drive future productivity and profitability for our farming nation,” Ms Nugent said.
“Adoption of agtech will ensure the industry can produce, supply, and store food and fibre sustainably.”
AgSmart will be supporting the nation’s agtech ambition to be a leading source of solutions and technological manufacturing globally.
AgSmart has attracted more than 50 exhibitors with a diverse range of ideas and technology to be displayed and demonstrated including artificial intelligence in farming, robotics, farm management systems, on-farm connectivity, smart farm machinery and equipment, precision and vertical farming.
AgSmart will be staged on Thursday and Friday, 7 and 8 September at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre in Bendigo, Victoria.
“Australian agriculture is on the move and the AgSmart Expo will place a spotlight on ground-breaking, more cost-efficient, and more effective farming practices that are more responsive to change, and ultimately more profitable,” Ms Nugent said.
If you have a new innovation, product or service related to agriculture, then AgSmart is an amazing opportunity and highly effective way to reach and network with this expo’s broad ranging demographic of visitors and exhibitors, in an environment conducive to listening, learning, engaging and selling.
