As a visitor at one of the world's largest agricultural field days, you will be treated to live demonstrations, experience new products, taste great food and so much more.

getting around

FREE Shuttle Bus:
The AgQuip Shuttle Bus, will be available to help visitors navigate around the car parks and the site. This free service will stop at major road junctions as well as offering a ‘hail and ride’ service.  If you see it, stop it and jump on.  This service is limited to older visitors and those with a genuine need. Children will only be able to ride if accompanied by an adult.

Look for the designated waiting zones (found on the map) when leaving the event to grab a ride back to your car!

For all information, free sunscreen, special requests or any assistance, please visit the team at AgQuip HQ, located on-site at Y-Z/21.

St John Ambulance is located outside the Pavilion (AA-BB/09-10).

food and drinks

Did you know that the world's best steak sandwiches are served at AgQuip? There are a number of great food vendors, local producers and more ready to serve you a delicious treat while you wander or take a break. All food courts, kiosks and cafes are open daily from 9am to 5pm. 

MOBILITY SCOOTER HIRE

To hire a scooter at AgQuip, it is preferred to book online prior to attending the event. Contact Show Lockers to make a booking enquiry by CLICKING HERE.

You will be able to select your scooter and select which day you will be attending. The booking will be completed by making payment via a credit card, and a confirmation email will be sent to you. 

If you would like to hire on the day, walk up to the stand located at Gate 11 and have payment ready (card or cash) and your identification (a driver’s licence will be held as a deposit until the scooter is returned). 

 

Golf Cart Hire

To hire a Golf Cart at AgQuip it is advised to call DTM Golf Carts on 02 6762 2606 and select the day/s you will be attending. This service is limited to those over 18 years.

DTM Golf Carts will be operating during AgQuip from Gate 11.

Parents’ room

A Parents’ Room is provided by Gunnedah Red Cross and is located in the Pavilion (AA-BB/09-10).

Visitor FAQ’s

CAN I BRING MY DOG TO AgQuip?

With the exception of guide dogs for the vision impaired, registered service dogs for medical or disability requirements. other than those exceptions, no dogs are permitted on-site. Please contact ACM Rural Events if you have any questions or concerns regarding the no dogs policy on (02) 6768 5800 or email agquip@austcommunitymedia.com.au.

WHERE IS HEADQUARTERS (HQ) LOCATED?

Headquarters is on the eastern end of the field located on site Y-Z/21-22.

WHERE ARE THE TOILETS?

Toilets and washing facilities are located in AA, BB, E, O, and Y rows adjacent to food canteens. Disabled toilets available on site AA/30, O-P/25, Y-Z/31, and at the Shopping Arcade (SA).

WHAT TIME DO THE GATES OPEN?

Gates for public access will open at 8:30am each morning.

WHAT TIME DOES THE CAR PARK OPEN?

The car park will be open for public entry from 7:30am each morning.

HOW CAN I WORK FOR AN EXHIBITOR on their stand?

If you would like to seek casual employment with one of our exhibitors, please email us and ask to be added to the employment list - which is shared with exhibitors seeking help in the lead-up over the days of the event, and during dismantling agquip@austcommunitymedia.com.au.

HOW DO I APPLY TO WORK for the AgQuip organisers?

If you are interested in contractor work at AgQuip, you will need to email your interest and skills to agquip@austcommunitymedia.com.au.

CAN I GET HELP TAKING ITEMS TO MY CAR DURING THE EVENT?

AgQuip offers a free Parcel Pickup service during the event. Please note, not all exhibitors have registered with parcel pickup. It is only for items between 10 - 80kgs, Please check with the exhibitor if they have registered. If they registered they will provide you with a parcel pick-up ticket once you have finalised your purchase. Your item/s will then be picked up by our drivers and taken to the official parcel pick-up depot. Please Note: There are two depots at AgQuip and you will need to advise the exhibitor which depot you would prefer to collect from. Eg: Western Carpark is Blue Shed and Southern and Eastern car park is Green Shed - or if it’s easier for you to remember.. Green for Gunnedah side or Blue for Boggabri side.

When you’re ready to leave the event, simply return to your car, then make your way to either Green or Blue Depot, follow the parcel-up signs into the depo to collect your item/s.

CAN I CAMP AT AgQuip?

No, unfortunately, no one is allowed to camp on the AgQuip property - not even in the car parks.

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL ONTO THE SITE?

No, you cannot bring alcohol onto the AgQuip site.

There is a public bar that operates at AgQuip daily from 10am to 4pm.

The bar is located at site BB/27. Please Note: No alcohol is allowed to be consumed outside of the bar area. No alcohol is to be served or consumed by persons under 18 years of age and no alcohol will be supplied to an intoxicated person.

WHERE IS THE ATM LOCATED?

ATMs are located outside the shopping arcade located at BB/04 and on-site K-L/21 and operate from 8:30am daily.

WHERE IS THE DISABLED CAR PARK?

Disabled car parking is available in the western car park (Gate 11) and northern car park (Gate 2). Look out for the disabled parking signs.

WHERE CAN I FIND AN OFFICIAL GUIDEBOOK?

Official Guide Books are located at all person gates and at headquarters Y-Z/21-22.

WHERE IS THE TAXI or bus RANK?

A taxi rank and a Bus stops are located at the Eastern end of the field Gate 2, behind Headquarters (HQ) at Y-Z/21 - to provide transport from Gunnedah and back.

ARE THERE GLUTEN-FREE FOOD OPTIONS AT AgQuip?

Yes, there are a number of Gluten-Free options with many of our food vendors, check out the Official Guide Book - Look for Food - Gluten Free to see the list of food vendors.

where are the food vendors located?

A variety of food and drinks are offered across the field day site. Food vendors are located on rows AA, BB, A, C-D, E, E-F, G, G-H, I-J, K-L, (MP), N, (OSA), O-P, P, (PAV), (SA), W-X, Y-Z.

Plus, most of the beef breeders serve steak sandwiches from their respective sites.

Check out the Official Guide Book if you're looking for a specific food option eg: Chinese, Greek, Burgers, Vegan, etc.

WHAT ENTERTAINMENT IS THERE AT AgQuip?

From livestock breeders, petting zoo, working dog demonstrations, machinery demonstrations to informative learning sessions. You will find something at AgQuip to keep you entertained. Check out the Activities Program within the Official Guide Book.

DO YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE BUS TO OFFER A LIFT AROUND THE SITE?

The Shuttle Bus is a free on-site people mover service, starting at 10am daily - departing from Headquarters (HQ) at Y-Z/21 on the hour and Gate 11 every 30 minutes on the Western side of the field - look for the Shuttle Bus Stop signs across the site or ‘hail and ride’ as it approaches.

DOES AgQuip BROADCAST THE PUBLIC ADDRESS (PA) SYSTEM?

Yes, AgQuip in fact has its own radio station – AgQuip FM 106.7. AgQuip FM commences during the event.

DOES Agquip HAVE AN APP?

Yes we do! We are finetuning this at the moment so look out for its announcement soon!

where can i find sunscreen for my kids?

Sunscreen is available from Headquarters (HQ) at Y-Z/21, compliments of the organisers, ACM Rural Events.
