Welcome to the FarmFest Kids trail! As you walk around this trail you will see some really cool things including cute animals, some really big tractors and even some drones.

FARMFEST APP

Follow the signs to learn fun facts about farming. You’ll see animals, tractors, and some really big farm machines.

There are 6 checkpoints with questions to answer. Once you have completed the trail and answered all the questions, collect your prize from The FarmFest Livestock HeadQuarters.

The FarmFest app that identifies where you are standing on the site and where each of the checkpoints are. Therefore, irrespective of which gate you enter the site, by using the app you can clearly see the education trail and the nearest checkpoint. Otherwise the trail is similar to last year with signage that provides basic farming and agricultural production information with a relevant question for the students to answer.  We are conscious that these students are quite young, therefore the trail is around 1.5km with a few rest areas along the way. Everyone who undertakes the trail will receive a small gift.

Below is some information to ensure participants have the best possible time at Farm Fest.

What to Bring

  • Sun safe attire suitable for outdoor activities

  • Sun screen and a hats

  • Closed in shoes - our roads and laneways are gravel based

  • Food and drink for each participant
