Education Partner
FarmFest is very excited to announce the University of New England (UNE) as the inaugural education partner for 2026. For over 70 years UNE has been delivering both on-campus and distance higher education to regional Australia. Bryn Griffiths, Director of Future Students and Engagement said, “UNE is excited to announce this partnership as we are committed to preparing and supporting individuals, communities, and research partners to deliver regional and rural success both in Australia and around the world. Our Alumni are the regional
leaders across our country and globally and we continue to be proud of the graduates we produce who choose to live and work in, and contribute to the social and economic sustainability of Regional Australia. We look forward to connecting with them, our existing students and future students at FarmFest 2026”.
Strong Interest from Returning Exhibitors
Having launched applications to exhibit at FarmFest 2026 in late November, we have received over 500 applications, including over 70 applications from new exhibitors, with over 50% of the site already allocated. This overwhelmingly positive response is proof that companies who want to showcase their products and services to the Queensland farming community recognise that FarmFest is the must attend event. Further information regarding new products and exhibitors will be featured in upcoming newsletters.
If you want to find out more about exhibiting at Elders FarmFest click on this link to view the propsectus. For new exhibitors wanting to apply for a site please complete the application here. Please note, applications close this Friday the 6th February for returning exhibitors.
Introducing Gaby
A wonderful addition to the FarmFest team is the appointment of Gabriella James (Gaby) in the Commercial Managers role, with a strong focus on maximising the opportunities for our valued exhibitors. Gaby, who joined the team in July, has over 5 years experience in the event management field, most recently in the role of Head of Sales at the Perth Royal Show.
“I’m excited to step into this new role and be a part of the team who deliver the FarmFest and AgQuip Field day events. Both events are recognised as platforms for connecting the farming communities and the businesses supporting them, and I look forward to continue to build these connections” - Gaby
Field Day Awareness Week - Feb 2 - 6
As a member of the Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australasia, FarmFest and our fellow field days are proud to celebrate Field Day Awareness Week. Field days play an important role in connecting communities, building partnerships that promote growth and sustainability and exposing innovation and technology to those involved in the farming sector.
