Jack Paff knows tractors. With five of them already under his belt, he can tell the difference between a machine that works and a salesman who talks.

So when he headed to Elders FarmFest last year, he wasn't looking for a flashy sales pitch, he was after a tractor that would perform at his Muirlea property and a dealer who knew what they were talking about.

The increasingly familiar hum and buzz of drones will fill the air at Elders FarmFest this year. A dedicated drone demonstration area will provide a window into what these devices are capable of. Supported by some of Australia's leading agricultural drone companies, the area (located on the AA row) will showcase the latest innovations in drone technology and its role in the future of agriculture.

Karyn Cassar and Carissa Wolfe, both qualified trainers and assessors, have presented introductions and training for the beef and dairy industries, across every age-group and experience, for more than 20 years.  They co-own and -manage Benmar Farm Pty Ltd which has included a dairy, stud and commercial beef, agri-tourism, and on-farm training.

Elders return as sponsor of Queensland’s largest field day

FarmFest continues to grow, with expansion of AgTech including new ‘AgSmart Connect Hub’

Planning is underway for Queensland’s largest – and arguably Australia’s fastest-growing agricultural field days with FarmFest 2024 confirmed for June 4 to 6 next year.

Elders has confirmed they are returning as the event’s naming rights sponsor for another three years, contributing to the momentum behind the Toowoomba-based agricultural showcase.
