Elders - Headline Sponsor of FarmFest

The Elders story began in 1839 and today their diverse business operations cover rural products and services, financial services, real estate, insurance and more, across a network that reaches every corner of Australia.
“Elders has been a long-time partner of FarmFest and has been delighted to witness and support its growth and success over the years.” Said Ryan Robinson, Northern Region General Manager,

Lions Club
FarmFests association with the Toowoomba West Lions Clubs dates back 12 years and is a much valued relationship for both organisations. From taking care of the ground maintenance program throughout the year to staffing ticket sales booths and coordinating parcel pick-up during the event, no task seems too hard for this wonderful team of volunteers. “Without question, FarmFest runs smoother with the involvement of the Lions volunteers” said FarmFest General Manager Craig Chapman “It is wonderful that our event is able to support a local volunteer organisation to raise funds that are then passed on to support those in need”.
Lions member Marshall said “ FarmFest is a great event for Toowoomba West Lions to be involved in. It gives the Club the opportunity to raise valuable funds that support many of Lions Clubs International programs locally, nationally and internationally. FarmFest also gives us the opportunity to partner with other local Lions Clubs and 'not for profit organisations' to help fill the 40+ volunteer numbers that are required. Over the years we have built a relationship with the ACM team at FarmFest that will endure for many years to come.”
Cattle on show and on display
Stud cattle will once again feature at Farmfest culminating in the sashing in the Battle of the Bulls and Fantastic Females champions. Around 150 entries across a variety of breeds will compete for over $12000 in cash and prizes over Wednesday and Thursday, with all cattle being displayed for the duration of the event.
Organiser of the stud cattle competition John McCarthy said “the FarmFest stud cattle competition is highly regarded and attracts studs not only from across the Darling Downs, but more broadly across Queensland and northern New South Wales. Cattle compete in British, European or Tropical classes and the winners then progress to the supreme judging and with the cash and prizes on offer, the competition is taken very seriously by the studs involved.” Mr McCarthy said.
